Astrid Lindgren's Classic For Ages 5+
Recommended for Hortgruppen , Vorschule , Primary school , Kita/Vorschulkinder
Pippi Longstocking (full name: Pippilotta Victualia Rollgardina Peppermint Longstocking) is 9 years old and lives almost alone in an old house that goes by the name of Villa Villekulla. She has a pet monkey called Mr Nilsson, a pet horse and two suitcases full of gold. The suitcases came from her father who went out to sea and never came back. Now alone, Pippi encounters thieves, clumsy policemen and her intrusive aunt who believes that a poor, little girl like Pippi belongs in a children's home. Pippi has other ideas however and uses her wit, strength and ability to tell tall tales to escape. Her ability to dream up fun games means that Pippi and her two friends, Tommy and Annika, are never bored and always stick together.
Nominated for the IKARUS 2009 as an outstanding theatrical production for children.
