FAQ - Visiting The FEZ Theatre

Dear guests,
The Astrid Lindgren Stage is back!
The safety of our guests is of paramount importance to us. That's why we've reduced capacity and created a hygiene concept. You'll find the most important questions and answers below.

How can I purchase tickets and what should I know in advance?

To avoid the build-up of queues at the box office, we ask you to purchase tickets online via our online shop. You'll get your tickets by email as a Ticket@Home in PDF format. The Ticket@Home can be shown on entry either as a printout or on your smartphone.

Online sales will end shortly before each show or production. If tickets are still available, these will be sold on the day at the box office.

Please note:
Please book your tickets together with the people you want to sit with. We are selling our tickets as 2-people and 3-people combinations. We assume that most bookings belong to the same household and are therefore allowed to sit together. If you are in a household of 4-6 people, we recommend you buy two ticket combinations and we will try and place you all together. We are unable to guarantee this however.

Our reservation office will be happy to take bookings from school, kindergarten and youth groups. Reservations:

Guests with disabilities

The Astrid Lindgren Stage has two wheelchair spaces which can be booked via the Ticket Shop. If you are able to transfer to a seat, we will ensure you find an appropriate space.

If your disability pass is marked with the label B, then one person may accompany you free of charge. Please contact our visitor service when you arrive.

If you suffer from chronic respiratory diseases and are unable to wear a mouth and nose covering, we strongly advise you against visiting the Astrid Lindgren Stage. We require all our visitors to wear a mask to protect other guests and, by attending, you also put yourself at increased risk.

Where is the entrance to the Astrid Lindgren Stage?

Visitors to the Astrid Lindgren Stage should use the side entrance of the FEZ. This enables them to enter the building without coming into unnecessary contact with other guests. The side entrance is located close the main entrance, just to the right. This entrance leads directly to the theatre area of the Astrid Lindgren Stage.

Entry usually begins 30 minutes before the production begins.

Where is the entrance to concert halls for the puppet shows?

Our Astrid Lindgren Stage staff will meet you in front of the FEZ's main entrance and bring all guests to the correct room.
Please pay attention to the signs.

Entry usually begins 10 minutes before the event starts.

Is there a cloakroom?

At the moment, jackets and bags may be taken into the room with you. Due to the limited capacity, there is currently plenty of space for extras such as your coat or your bag.

How do I find my seat?

In order to make social distancing possible, we have clearly marked your seats. Our staff are on hand to help if you are unsure.

Please pay attention to our current hygine and social distancing measures when you choose your seat.

What are the safety and hygiene regulations?

In order to ensure all of our guests and actors enjoy their visit to the theatre and feel comfortable, we need your help. Please consider others and support us in implementing our hygiene regulations. A number of signs have been put up to help.

Please keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres from other guests and wear a mask at all times when inside the FEZ. You may however remove your mask once you are in your seat but be sure to put it back on when you get up to leave or to use the toilet.

Please view the current FEZ regulations here.

You will find disinfectant and hand sanitiser in the corridors and the bathrooms. Please use these to clean your hands thoroughly.

Can I attend the FEZ weekend programme?

This year, things are a bit different. The theatre ticket doesn't automatically grant entry to the event in the FEZ main building. If you do wish to attend the weekend programme after the production has finished, feel free to go to our box office or buy a separate ticket online.
